Short track corner:
- Chad Finley won the second-annual Bob Finley Memorial Super Late Model race at Owosso Speedway. More than $20K to the winner. Race is in his grandfather’s memory. Car was built by last year’s winner, Steve Needles, who finished second and gave him a run. You can watch the race on Owosso Speedway’s YouTube page.
- Reigning champion Chase Burda finally got back to victory lane in the JEGS/CRA All Star Tour race at Flat Rock Speedway on Saturday. He’s struggled all season with different issues.
- The JEGS/CRA All Stars are next in Nashville on Thursday for a non-points event, the Battle of Broadway, before returning to Michigan for the Instacoat Fourth Up North 104 at Whittemore Speedway July 6.
