The SuperSpeedway was started in February 2017 by Eric Young and James Kuch after years of discussing creating a NASCAR-related podcast. Inspired by some of the other NASCAR journalists, the two friends and former coworkers took the leap to create the NASCAR-themed website that features commentary about the top tiers of motorsports, as well as occasional local racing discussion as well. Since that time Eric and James have secured credentials for a couple of NASCAR events as they continue to build their coverage of the sport they grew up loving.
